Introduction and Scope

Purpose of the document

The purpose of this document is to clearly and objectively record everything that has been effectively manufactured in the mechanical phase of VERTix up to the present moment, highlighting:

• The parts produced in MDF (thickness, dimensions and quantities).
• The main changes implemented in relation to the original design.
• Photographic evidence that proves the conformity of the parts and assemblies.

Brief history

VERTix is a vertical jump assessment platform designed to measure height, flight time and force distribution. The initial design included 15mm and 10mm MDF components, plastic supports, installation of non-slip surfaces and finishes. In this mechanical production stage, all MDF sheets were cut, assembled and finished. This phase concluded the manufacture of:

• Three complete platforms, one platform is a spare.
• A case for electronics.
• The multifunctional tower.
• Fixers for the boards.
